A Lull

So far so good on the healing process. Tomorrow it will be 4 weeks since my surgery and most days this past week I've felt pretty good - and mostly pain free. Emotionally it's been a roller coaster as I've had to make some hard personal decisions this week - but God is good and I'm always amazed at how He sees me thru. On the ministry front, I'm continuing to make contacts and sharing my vision with friends in the ministry - and I've been blessed and encouraged with the feedback I've received thus far. I'm hoping for the green light from my surgeon in a couple of weeks to return to a higher level of activity and start rolling on some of the opportunities before me. Your prayers for wisdom and strength are always needed and treasured.

Have a fruitful and blessed weekend in Jesus!

In His Arm's,

Pat

"Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; he rises to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!"

    Dear Pat,

This is such an awesome verse! Our Lord LONGS to be gracious to us! It is what He is all about! He rises to show us His compassion...it's what He does! He is a God of justice. We know we are only right and just because of what Jesus did for us on the cross, but God sees us as deserving His blessings because of Jesus! (Hallelujah!) You are SO blessed as you wait for him, because you are waiting for him, expectantly, as the Word tells us to do!

You encourage us so much! Thank you, bro. I pray you continue to be encouraged in Him as well. Hang in there, sunrise is coming!

  3. To Our Dear Pastor Pat:

Hearing your words and feelings put onto your blog must be very therapeutic for you, not to mention an inspiration for all of us who are going through some minor and some major trials. You have always been an inspiration to your flock and will continue to be that and more because you share so openly and freely things that we can all relate to. You are the greatest witness of what a Pastor should be, no matter how difficult the struggle you have endured, your faith is so strong. We all thank God for you and for sharing with us that we might all learn something through your walk with our Lord and Savior. May all of our walks strenghten due to your faithfulness and love for our Father in heaven.

God Bless you Pastor Pat each and every day as you feel stronger and stronger both physically and spiritually.

    Love In Christ,
    Your sister, Kathy Gomez
