So the days roll on. This week I'm trying to get out a while each day. Got a couple of meetings involving the police chaplaincy on Tues and Wed and on Thurs. eve, My 5 year old grandaughter will be in her first preschool Christmas production. Really looking forward to that!
My appetite is slowing improving and the pain is a little less every day if I don't try and do too much. I also have to start getting out all our Christmas decorations and lights - my daughter and son in law will be over this weekend to help me brighten the house up. Joyce so loved Christmas and I want to do it up in her memory - and not get to depressed she not here to tell me where everything is supposed to go.
Well it's late and my head is fuzzy so Good night all and God bless and use you for His glory this Christmas season.
In His Arm's,
Pat
Dear Pastor Pat:
ReplyDeleteIt was absolutely wonderful to see you on Sunday. God's Love shines so brightly through you. You blessed so many of us by your mere presence. It was all we could do not to just squeeze you, we all feel so much love for you, but that will obviously have to wait haha. You continue to let God work through you and we are all so fortunate to be part of your life. You are an encouragement to so many and God is using you in a mighty way. When you hurt, we hurt, but that is the way true Christian Love is supposed to be. You have taught us all that lesson. Because of you, we all press on despite our daily struggles and trials. God will make us all stronger for it. Again, thank you for sharing the most private and intimate details of your life with your flock. It is not in vain. We have been given the greatest blessing having you as our Pastor. We love you and pray for your return to the pulpit, although we have learned so much about you since you have stepped back from it. We thank God every day for Pastors Mark, Richard,Miles and Josh. We are in good hands and are being blessed by their love for the Lord and for you.
We continue to lift you up in prayer daily.
Love In Christ,
Margaret, Debbie, Kathy, Rosemarie, Emily and Angelica Rose

Hi Pastor Pat...as I read your blog I'm reminded of this time last year when Joyce came and spoke to us at bible study...she knew things were not going well and encouaged ALL of us women to press on through the trial...she did that so well...also she shared how her sister had taken her to Peir 1 imports to buy her some christmas decotratio she had seen and wanted..I thought she is so blessed to have a sister who would do that for her.
ReplyDeleteI read today to take the time and have compasion for those in need Joyce did that so well. God Bless you has you and your family as you decorate in her HONOR and memory...she is VERY missed by all of us at CCE.
Praise God you are feeling better each day.
