My Mom
Well on top of everything else, my mom (89) has taken a severe downward turn and her docs are recommending family be gathered if they're able. So tomorrow I'm flying back to Chicago to be with my family at this difficult time. I'm still in a lot of pain myself so please pray for travel mercies and the Lord's healing hand all around!

Dear Pastor Pat:
ReplyDeletePastor Miles shared with us about your Mom. Our family will continually lift you up in prayer, as always, but especially since once again our beloved Pastor is facing yet another trial. Your family needs you and the strength that only you can give to your brother and sister and the rest of your family through the power the Lord has given you.
May God be with you on this journey. We know that when it is our time to go and be with the Lord, as much as we don't want them to leave us, they are leaving to be with the Lord. Easy to say but hard to do. We never want to lose our parents. God brought her into this world and raised a beautiful son along with your brother and sister.
I pray that your health will allow you to do all that you can for and with your family during this difficult time.
May God surround you with his guardian angels and give you the chance to say goodbye to your Mom, if in fact, it is her time.
May God be with you and be your strength our dear brother in Christ.
