Hi Folks!
Haven't posted much this week - sometimes no news is good news! After a blah day on Monday I had specific things to do the past three days and actually felt Ok inside. The gut wrenching pit in my heart is slowly healing and I'm getting a greater sense of the Lord moving me ahead. It's been nice to have a couple of back to back days that weren't so emotionally painful.
My brother was able to finish his chemo today and wasn't feeling too bad. I still don't have a date yet for my surgery - should know by early next week. Don't ya love waiting :-)
As always, I deeply appreciate your continued prayer for my family and I. We have a busy week next week as my son Jordan is marrying his Jr. High sweetheart next Saturday - and he asked me to be his best man. I'll try to post a couple pictures of the event.
Keep loving one another!
In His Arm's,
Pat

Good Morning Pat,
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to let you know that many of us are praying for you many times throughout our days.
Even though we aren't responding to your posts, we are reading them.
May you have a wonderful wedding for Jordan. I can imagine how happy Joyce would be, yet I know her loving influence will be present.Wish Jordan well from Michael and I.
I am proud of you that you are taking steps to take care of yourself, both emotionally and physically. I praise God that He is holding you close and bringing many saints to aid you spiritually.
"Now unto him who is able to keep you from falling..." Jude 24&25
Amen
PRAISE GOD, FOR SOME RELIEF FROM THAT 'Gret wrenching pit' in your heart. A man, can only endure so much. Yes, your heart will slowly heal, but the scar will remain. You will continue to have days of depression (especially with the wedding and holidays coming up) so be prepared. But soon, (give it time) you WILL wake up one day and that 'silver lining WILL get bigger and bigger, and the Sun WILL shine through for longer periods of time. Remember though, the clouds will roll in (again), but they WILL NOT stay long.
ReplyDeleteI pray you have a good rest of the week. Enjoy that wedding and the grand kids. Something postive to look forward to.
Keeping you in prayer and thought.
God Bless.....Isabelle
Oh I am so excited for you and Jordan. Wow, that speaks volumes for a son to ask his dad to be his "best man!" What a son to realize the gift he has in his dad. I hope my boys will realize the treasure they have in their daddy too! And even more importantly, may we each realize the treasure we have in our Father in heaven. We are so blessed. Sometimes we forget it when we set our eyes on circumstances. May we be faithful to remind each other to look to Christ and keep fighting the good fight.
ReplyDeleteOur prayers continue to be with you. I am encouraged to hear of better days. May you get more and more of them.
All of us, the bratty Bells, are sending our love and prayers to you!
Just to let you know that you are always in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteThe healing is starting to take place. Such good and incouraging news. Keep hanging in there. Happier days lay ahead. Enjoy the wedding, your family and grandchildren. Your Joyce will be there in 'spirit' watching the whole affair from above and rejoicing with all of you.. Looking forward to seeing those wedding pictures. Thank you for wanting to share them.
ReplyDeleteYou are a very special person and pastor.
GOD BLESS...I.K
