Joyce and I met with her oncologist this morning and it looks like we're going to just continue her chemo for another 3 months, barring any increased side effects. So she has her 5th treatment of doxcil and palmidrinate tomorrow morning - about a four hour infusion. Then sometime in the next four weeks she'll have another tumor marker blood test and another CT scan to see if the chemo is still shrinking the cancer. We continue the fight - one day at a time.
Ps 46:1-3 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though its waters roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah (NKJ)
Ps 50:15 Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me."(NKJ)
Blessings! Pat

Dear Pat and Joyce,
ReplyDeleteWe continue to lift you both up in our prayers. Thank you so much for the updates. The scriptures that you reference are an encouragement for all of us.
PS It's very difficult to read your previous blogs because of the graphic in the background. Just for your FYI
