Today thru the Word: Leviticus 6-7; Matthew 25:1-30
The men's retreat is Tonite thru Sunday morning up at Calvary Chapel's Twin Peak's Conference Center in the San Bernardino mountains. Ken told me this morning that 97 men were signed up to go. Please pray for an awesome, Spirit-filled time for all of them.
A couple thoughts from our reading today:
Matt 25:13 "Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.(NKJ)
In the parable of the 10 virgins many have gotten hung up on all the supposed allegories in this story but verse 13 is the Masters conclusion and main point in giving it.
Watch, be alert, give strict attention to. Don't miss the party!
Be it Israel or be it the church, the bottom line is the same. You better know the Lord when He comes.
Matt 7:21-23
21 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
22 "Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?'
23 "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'
I know you not. The HS in the life of the believer keeps us watching and ready and alert
and.....never forget that at any moment we could be standing before our Lord!
May each of us be walking, living and being led by the Spirit today and every day til He comes! Maranatha! Pat
